The Inventory Section of the Purchasing Division maintains the City-Parish fixed and movable assets inventory control, and handles public auctions for surplus City-Parish material, vehicles and equipment.
Inventory value at year end 2014 was approximately $175 million, compared with $170 million for 2013. The 2014 auctions generated approximately $1 Million in gross sales vs approximately $857 thousand in 2013 in gross sales. A portion of the proceeds from the auctions is retained to operate and maintain auction facilities at the East Lot.

Inventory Staff to permit viewing of surplus property.
