East Baton Rouge City-Parish is finalizing plans to allow vendors who respond to sealed bids for materials and supplies and construction/public works solicitations to submit electronic bids.

The City-Parish has signed an agreement with Info Tech, Inc., for use of the Bid Express Online Bidding Exchange. This arrangement allows for a six (6) month trial that is currently targeted to begin in early February.

Advertisements and Notice to Proposers will advise bidders when electronic bids will be accepted.  We will also continue to accept paper bids for all solicitations during this trial.

Vendors interested in submittal of electronic bids to East Baton Rouge City-Parish may do so by subscribing to Bid Express Online Bidding Exchange at www.bidx.com.
