SVDP Bishop Ott (Day Center)

The Society of St. Vincent DePaul is a non-profit, charitable organization opened in December of 1997 to provide services and shelter assistance to homeless men, women and children. SHP funding allows the Bishop Ott Center to provide Outreach/Intake, Assessment/Referral in order for participants to regain employment. Basic counseling and limited access to member agencies are other services provided, in addition to life skills training and case management necessary to reach self-sufficiency. Grant funds awarded under the 1997 SHP have been expended. The project received a three year renewal funding under the 2001 SHP for the continued delivery of services.
