Volunteers of America – Outreach (Drop-In) Center

The Outreach Center/Case Management is operated by the Volunteers of America of Greater Baton Rouge Foundation. Supportive Housing Program funds enable the operation of this project by providing an expansion to service capacity of the homeless Drop-in Center. The project provides services to persons with a variety of disabilities, and to those who are forced into homelessness because of abuse and/or neglect. Other services provided under the SHP include a full time case manager, transportation, and assistance in obtaining permanent housing. Grant funds were awarded under the 2000 SHP. The project is ongoing.
