H.O.P.E. CDC’s goals include:
- Providing services that will promote social, academic, and vocational skills for the residents in H.O.P.E.’s service are.
- Attract businesses to our community to address elderly and other consumer needs while enhancing overall safety of the area. (Gus Young Avenue Development Initiative)
- Build at least six (6) new construction homes at current development site and start intense infield development (approx. 40 units) beginning this year 2003.
H.O.P.E. CDC is quietly being called the “rehab specialist.” H.O.P.E. has successfully completed and sold twenty-one (21) rehabs and are set to begin construction of six (6) new homes, which will complete a total of thirteen (13) homes on North 46th Street and North Street.
