Assist in the development of DPW policies, procedures and standards as they relate to planning issues, Coordinate DPW planning efforts with other local, regional, state and federal plans,
Provide guidance and interpretation of
planning-related materials, Develop and update DPW GIS data, Perform spatial research and analysis and provide mapping
services, Develop, monitor and update a comprehensive transportation plan.
Promote and stay abreast of innovations in alternative fuels; in transportation systems, including TDM and ITS; and, in building and
site design, including LEED certification, Seek grants to fund the development of environmentally-conscious DPW projects.
