Alison Gibbs Cascio, a Republican, graduated from LSU with
a B.S. in geography in 2000. Prior to taking office in January 2009, she worked at the Center for Planning Excellence (CPEX), a non-profit organization that assists Louisiana parishes and municipalities with community planning. Alison
began her career at the City-Parish Planning Commission in 2001 and went on to serve as a legislative aide to former Councilman David Boneno. She works as an editor for LSU's National Center for Biomedical Research and Training.
Alison currently participates in the following committees and organizations:

Rebecca Delaughter serves as the Legislative Aide for District 11. She graduated from LSU with a B.S. in finance in May 2002. After working for seven years in
banking and finance, Rebecca began her career with the City-Parish in November 2006 as the Legislative Aide to former Councilman David Boneno. During Councilman Boneno’s term, Rebecca and Alison worked
together on the Government Street Amenities Committee. As they continue to work together, Alison and Rebecca are committed to efficiently addressing the needs of District 11 residents and are dedicated to improving quality of
life throughout the parish.
