Hibernia Community
Development Corporation (Hibernia CDC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to
improving the quality of life for citizens of the communities in which we serve by
leveraging investments into under-developed urban and rural neighborhood communities,
leading to a revitalized residential and commercial environment.
Hibernia CDC
accomplishes this by developing and financing single-family residences and multi-family
rental projects either through new construction or rehabilitation. Hibernia CDC is also
interested in pursuing economic development projects that strengthen communities by
providing needed services or jobs and small business development.
Established in 1996,
Hibernia CDC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hibernia National Bank. Hibernia CDC has
staff knowledgeable in asset-based community development, project feasibility, grant
writing, resource development, budgeting, cash flow analysis, financial packaging and
various other critical facets of community development. Hibernia CDC serves over 33
parishes in the state of Louisiana and 10 counties in Texas.
