Beginning in January of 2009, the two riverboats began paying
taxes based upon a percentage of net gaming revenue as opposed to a flat fee per
admission. For July 2009, compared to July 2008, gaming
collections reflected a 21.93% increase. Year-to-date collections
increased by 29.28%.
