HIV/AIDS Alliance for Region Two (HAART) is a permanent housing program that provides housing and services to homeless individuals and families with HIV/AIDS. HAART collaborates with Family Services and Volunteers of America to provide case management and benefits. Clients are also assisted through SHP funds, which further provide for leasing assistance for individuals and families, supportive services for case management, and basic operating expenses for equipment and supplies. Other supportive services include assisting clients in establishing a permanent residence, maintaining medical treatment as well as integrating participants into the neighborhood with employment, benefits and outpatient health services. The project received a three year SHP grant for the delivery of its services.
